Substation Bisamberg
The Bisamberg substation forms part of the eastern operating region and comprises 380-kV, 220-kV and 110-kV switching stations. Situated near to the town of Korneuburg, the substation acts as a base for the maintenance personnel working on the substations in Bisamberg, Dürnrohr, Etzersdorf, Zurndorf and Neusiedl an der Zaya.
The substation is also the base for an overhead line team whose role is to manage the high-voltage overhead lines in the region, ensure that they are operating properly as well as to carry out maintenance work and remedy any faults.
