Our strategic goal is to create a pan-European digital twin that brings together the expertise of grid and market operators, technology providers and research centers. This collective effort will ensure resilient, secure and efficient energy operations across Europe.
Objectives of the project
The TwinEU project is a ground-breaking initiative under Horizon Europe that aims to transform the European energy landscape through the digitalization of the energy system.
8 demonstrations
An essential part of the TwinEU project is the implementation of 8 demonstrations in 11 EU countries. These demonstrations will illustrate the practical applications and benefits of the project innovations.
Consortium
The TwinEU project has a stable consortium comprising 75 partners from 15 countries, making it one of the largest and most diverse collaborations under Horizon Europe.
