Incident in the european elctricity grid
On Friday afternoon at 2:05pm a disturbance occurred in the synchronized European high-voltage power grid, which caused an under-frequency with a short-time frequency deviation of approx. 260 mHz. The detailed analysis of the incident is still in progress, however, the origin of the disturbance was not in Austria. Due to the Europe-wide well-established and well-functioning emergency mechanisms and the immediate and coordinated cooperation of the TSOs normal grid operation could be reestablished all over Europe within around an hour.
