Tender 2021

In accordance with Section 23b (2) ElWOG 2010, APG selected the grid reserve providers in a two-stage process.

All providers in accordance with Section 23b (1) ElWOG 2010, who intended to make their units available to the grid reserve under the conditions of the tender documents, were able to express their interest at APG from March 31, 2021 to April 30, 2021 12:00. Questions about the 1st stage of the tendering process (expression of interest) could be asked or sent by email to netzreserve@apg.at by April 23, 2021.

In the first stage of the procedure, APG checked the information and evidence provided by the providers in their expressions of interest for the existence and fulfillment of the prerequisites for participation in accordance with Section 23b (1), (2) and (4) ElWOG 2010 and the technical suitability criteria (mandatory minimum requirements).

In the second stage of the process, the operators of the units classified as suitable were asked to submit an offer. Operators of the systems classified as unsuitable have been informed. The offer was submitted using a software tool provided by APG. Offers could be submitted using the software tool from May 19, 2021 to June 18, 2021. General questions about the 2nd stage of the tendering process (offer phase) could be sent by email to netzreserve@apg.at by June 11, 2021.
