New scheduling process in CEE region

11/19/2010

A new scheduling process in the CEE region (Central Eastern Europe) starts with the business day 1st of December. On all APG borders the actual version of ESS Version 2.3 for schedules will be continued.

The changes in the scheduling process on APG borders are:

  • New deadline for long-term nomiations based on yearly and monthly capacities (CEE Borders: CEPS, MAVIR, ELES) is D - 2 17:00. For the business day 2010-12-01 the long-term schedules have to be received at the latest on 2010-11-29 17:00.
  • For CEPS<->APG short-term nomination based on daily auction, the Auction Office of CEPS creates for each capacity a new Capacity Agreement Identification (CAI) to be used in the APG nomination process.
  • Intraday APG<->CEPS uses Capacity Contract Type A07 instead of A01. For each intraday capacity CEPS creates a new Capacity Agreement Identification (CAI) to be used in the APG nomination process.
  • For MAVIR<->APG short-term nomination based on daily auction, the Auction Office of MAVIR creates for each capacity a new Capacity Agreement Identification (CAI) to be used in the APG nomination process.
  • For the year 2011 all auctions (yearly, monthly, daily) will be processed from the Central Auction Office in Freising.

Please note:

  • On the border APG<->CEPS there will be no intraday trade in the period from 2010-11-29 20:00 to 2010-11-30 24:00.
  • The CEE scheduling process runs automatically. A manual interference in the process is not possible. Balance responsible parties should pay attention to correct nomination of the schedules and the received messages from APG. Acknowledgements, Anomaly Reports and Confirmations show the status of the schedules and should always be evaluated accordingly by the receiver.
