Balancing Statistics in APG Control Area

Statistical data relating to the balancing energy in the APG control area can be found on this page. The data is provided by Austrian Power Grid AG. To download the data, simply click on the required file in the right-hand column. The files can be opened with Microsoft Excel, Version 2007 or later (or with compatible programmes).

Every file contains the following time sequences in a 15-minute grid:

Total negative control energy (MWh taken from the grid) in the quarter hour (= total negative secondary control energy, negative tertiary control energy and unintentional supply to neighbouring grids)

Total Imbalance of Control Area

Delta control area (MWh surplus minus deficit) in the quarter hour

Import/Export-Balance (Schedules)

Total cross-border schedules (MWh import minus export) in the quarter hour

Positive amounts are costs, negative amounts are revenue.

Note: An energy price is not paid for primary control. Hence the entry "-" in the corresponding field.
