Load Flows

On this page physical cross border load flows are illustrated, i.e. the measured exchange of electric energy on the borders of the APG control area.

The average load flow data for a quarter of an hour are usually published 15 minutes after the end of this quarter of an hour. They are calculated on the basis of the measured data of APG.

Due to the fact that some lines have their control area’s border on the side of the adjacent transmission system operator, the published data differs insignificantly from internationally used data. If the system detects transmission errors, they are displayed with an interrogation mark.

The exchange with Germany includes the exchange with the control area of Tyrol (until end of 2010) and Vorarlberg (until the end of 2011). From 01 January 2012, the APG control area comprises all of Austria with the exception of a corridor in Vorarlberg.
